Delivery & Returns

All publications, editions, and items from our CARE collection are sent to the customer direct from Fife Contemporary. 

Normal office hours are Monday to Friday (except holidays), and we aim to process orders within 5 working days of receipt of the order. Exceptions are items which are made to order, details of these order times are included in the item listing. 

Unique craft items are packaged and sent direct by the artist who made them. Fife Contemporary will contact the artist when an order is received to ask them to pack and post the item to the customer. These items might take longer than 5 days to process and we will notify you of any significant delays. 

We use PayPal as our payment gateway and do not store any card details ourselves. You do not need to set up a PayPal account to use this facility; once directed to the PayPal payment page, click the button that allows you to pay by debit or credit card. . You will get an email notification from PayPal if the payment has been successful. 

If you are purchasing close to Christmas, please check the fulfilment period for the artist and product concerned and ensure you order in sufficient time. We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by industrial action. 

Most items will be sent using an insured method dependent on the value of the goods. 

If you require to send items to more than one address, please make a new order for each delivery address.

International Orders

We are currently unable to fulfil orders outside the UK.

Terms and Conditions

These terms which apply in connection with the ordering process should be read in conjunction with the Fife Contemporary website terms and conditions and the definite therein shall also apply to these terms.

Returns / Refunds

If for any reason you wish to return your purchase, Fife Contemporary will offer a refund or an exchange as long this is requested within 14 days of receiving your order. Undamaged goods must be returned to Fife Contemporary in perfect condition, appropriately packed, and accompanied by the order confirmation.  Fife Contemporary cannot refund or exchange any item damaged by the customer after receipt, or on custom commissioned goods.  

If your goods are received in a damaged or faulty condition, please notify us immediately by emailing shop@fcac.co.uk. We will offer you either a replacement or refund.   

Please take into account postage costs and shipping times when returning goods. Fife Contemporary is not liable for postage, shipping or taxes due on returned goods, unless damaged or faulty, or if an error has been made by Fife Contemporary.

UK Returns Postage

In order for goods to be adequately covered while in transit, Fife Contemporary recommends using first class post for returning cards and publications, and special delivery for returning craft items and editions. Ask for a certificate of posting from the Post Office at the time the items are sent – Fife Contemporary will not be responsible for loss or damage of returned products during transit.

Cancellation of an Order

You have 5 working days ‘cooling off’ period after receipt of the goods to cancel the order. If for any reason you wish to do this, please do so in writing, by emailing shop@fcac.co.uk detailing your order number and informing us of your decision to cancel.
