Textile and Poetry: Come and Try Sessions

An all-day weaving event with Janet Hughes

Meet others with a passion for textile and poetry, and create your own textile work guided by Fife-based weaver Jan Hughes of Fibreshed Scotland and Balgarvie Weaving.

Fife Contemporary x StAnza drop in weaving and poetry workshop

You can drop into this session and weave as much or as little as you like, for as long as you like. Use one of our small looms or join in with our larger collaborative weaving! Anything can be used to weave – yarns and warp will be provided – but you can also bring along any ends of wool, fabric or old clothing that can be cut up and used to create! Reusing, repurposing and recycling are all part of this chance to create something new.
