THIS EVENT HAS NOW PASSED
Wednesday 2nd August, 10am til 12noon at Firestation Creative, Carnegie Dr, Dunfermline KY12 7AN.
Join us for this 2hr specialist session on how to photograph your work. You’ll learn about lighting, positioning and what makes a strong photograph typically used as part of applications and project proposals.
The workshop will be led by photographer Alan Dimmick who will take you through the steps to document your work. You’ll learn simple techniques using traditional lighting methods as well as a DIY approach, that will give you the soft and revealing light best showcasing your work.
A ‘Documenting and Recording Your Work’ handout will be provided at the session for you to take home.
What to bring or prepare..
Equipment will be provided at the session, including cameras, lighting, tripods and reflectors. However, if you would like to bring your own camera, please do but note that this is not essential. Props will also be provided but you are invited to use this time to bring some smaller artworks, 3D or 2D, as there will be opportunity for you to use the equipment.
