FCA&C Artists’ Forum 2013

Booking is now open for this year’s Artists’ Forum, the annual networking and information giving event in Fife. This year’s content has been informed by research carried out by Fife Cultural Trust into artists’ concerns in Fife. However, it has universal appeal concerning as it does two popular topics – funding and marketing.

Choose to take part in either a session on writing applications or writing a business plan (with Fiona Pilgrim, Cultural Enterprise Office, and Celia Sinclair, Business Gateway Fife, respectively); come along this year to hear first hand experiences from artists about crowdfunding: Kate Pickering (Vanilla Ink) and Alicia Bruce (from the project Self Reliance (1841)); find out about aspects of marketing including using social media and web selling from artist Deirdre Nelson, Sian Jamieson, and Andrew Goring (Royal Scottish Academy). And benefit from the wisdom of the day’s chair Laura Hamilton.
