Added Value? questions the value of high quality contemporary craft within the contexts of branding and luxury. Materials used are explored through the work of fine artist/jeweller, Zoe Arnold; traditional skills are illustrated by the craftsmanship of Oliver Ruuger; brands are explored via the collaboration between product designer Simon Hasan and fashion house Fendi; the bespoke is shown by a one-off pair of shoes hand-crafted by shoe makers, carréducker; experience is demonstrated through the unusual creations of jelly-mongers, Bompas & Parr, and the everyday is presented through the work of bespoke wallpaper maker, Tracy Kendall.
