The Steeple

67 High Street, Newburgh, KY14 6AH

Steeple Arts is an open membership organisation. A group of artists, craftspeople and supporters interested in the arts, music and performance and based at The Steeple, we are committed to working to encourage accessible high quality arts in the community of Newburgh and the surrounding area.  Steeple Arts also aims to support and improve opportunities for artists in Fife, through networking and continuing professional development.

The Steeple opened in 2007 offering affordable art studios, a residency flat with its own studio for visiting artists and a project space which can be booked for classes, workshops, performances and exhibitions. The Wasps Trust and Wasps’ Artists Studios developed the venture, the first of its kind in Fife, in partnership with local charity Steeple Arts.

If you are an artist looking for studio space in Fife please contact Wasps who run the private studios at The Steeple.

The Steeple Arts Space in Newburgh is 9m x 14m with a high ceiling. It’s perfect for exhibitions, intimate concerts, classes & film shows. It has excellent acoustics, picture hanging rails, spot lighting & a retractable film screen. It features original internal balcony, arched windows & cast iron radiators of its previous life at the Town Hall yet has a modern feel.

The Steeple is not normally open to the public and the Project Space is open to the public only when there is an event on. They are however happy to offer a tour of the facilities if this is requested in advance.
