Treat – the end (for now…)
Well, they do say that all good things come to an end, and sadly Treat, our first pop-up shop in J&G Innes, has run its 2 week course. We had a lot of packing up to do on Monday and Tuesday, despite selling a lot, but I think the worst part was carting everything down the stairs, across the road and into the office in the Town Hall. Great thanks to Marion and Anton for helping!

Five Fife Beaches film on show in St Andrews Town Hall
‘Five Fife Beaches’ was one of the alternative guides to the Fife Coastal Path, produced by a group from Fife Council’s Adult Resource Centres working with Newburgh based media artist Tracey McConnell-Wood.

Lawhead Primary visit Jila Peacock exhibition
FCA&C welcomed 26 members of the primary 5 class from Lawhead Primary School to St Andrews Town Hall earlier this week. They were given a chance to look at the shape poem prints by artist Jila Peacock, watch the short animation film accompanying them, and also do a short drawing exercise.

Scrap Exchange Challenge – nearly there!
Here’s the latest views of the Scrap Exchange Challenge exhibition – a project kicked off at our last Artists’ & Makers’ Forum in April whereby participants brought along a shoebox of their scrap materials to swap randomly with other artists (the easy bit), and then went home to create an artwork out of what they got (the not-so-easy bit!).
