Circular Ceramics in the Round
We are delighted to be taking part in an online cultural, collaborative event as part of University of Glasgow’s College of Arts’ The Dear Green Bothy for COP26. From 4pm 12 October 2021, curator and ceramic artist Mella Shaw will be in conversation with artists Sara Howard and Carol Sinclair from REsolve: A Creative Approach to the Circular Economy.
The Dear Green Bothy is a programme of free public events and activities which demonstrate the vital role played by the arts and humanities in understanding and addressing climate emergency.
We invite you to sign up to this virtual ‘handling session’, exploring innovations in the material of ceramics within the context of the Circular Economy.
The discussion will be facilitated by use of the Wolfvision visualiser at the Hunterian Museum, University of Glasgow, so that close analysis of the material qualities being discussed can be shared with the online audience.
