The Scottish Collection – CultureLabel

Fife Contemporary Art & Craft is one of around 20 Scottish arts organisations participating in a new partnership venture between Creative Scotland and CultureLabel, an online retail platform which brings together selected international art and design featuring original and limited edition contemporary artwork.

Under the name of The Scottish Collection, a curated selection of 10 works each is presented from a diverse range of organisations across Scotland, meaning that 200 works will be available online. The collection will be refreshed on a regular basis.

As well as FCA&C, participating organisations include Brazen Studios, Craft Scotland, Dundee Contemporary Arts, Edinburgh PrintMakers, The Fruitmarket Gallery, Glasgow Print Studio, Project Ability, Artpistol, The Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts (RGI), and Glasgow International.

FCA&C’s first selection of work features emerging artists Catherine Brunet (texiles), Roisin Connolly (jewellery), and Jo Walker (ceramics). Their well received work can be found at http://www.culturelabel.com/vendors/Fife-Contemporary-Art-Craft/.

The Scottish Collection is the latest art collection to launch on CultureLabel, with collections from New York and London galleries already featuring on the site.
