Fife Dunfermline Print Workshop

Fife Dunfermline Print Workshop is an artist-run printmaking workshop established in 1981.  The workshop is located in the basement of an old Victorian building and is easily accessed by rail, bus and road.

The workshop is well equipped for a wide range of fine art printmaking including copper plate and zinc etching, water-based screenprinting, wood and linocut relief printing, collograph printing and various forms of monoprinting.  They have a Rochat etching press suitable for up to A1 paper size, a small mobile etching press, a relief press, a book press and two screen beds. Other equipment includes a hot plate, metal cutter, mount cutter, Grant projector, print racks, computer and scanner.

As an artists’ co-operative they have no paid staff.  They operate on a key access system with limited technical support provided on a voluntary rota basis on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10.30am to 3.30pm.
