Anton Beaver at Telephone Box Gallery 201

A new exhibition at the 201 Telephone Box Gallery in Strathkinness starts on Sunday 3 July 2022.

Installation entitled “No Exit”, by Fife based artist Anton Beaver, comprises of found objects such as: a garden table broken by a flying object during storm Arwen, sun glasses found on a road side, a rock, a road sign…

The title “No Exit” comes from the artist’s contemplation on how external conditions effect internal psychological neuroses, a metaphorical anthropomorphism. “No Exit” could represent alienation from a ‘normal’ existence, a straight jacket of commodity, a vacation cul-de-sac, a wake-up call for change to find solutions to our future destination, impact and footprint as humans on this planet.

The exhibition runs until 21 August 2022 is free and open 24/7.

Closing event is planned for Sunday 21 August 2022 at 3:45 pm.
