In my studio there is a collection of boxes which sit and wait for transformation. When one grabs my attention, it presents possibilities for a new piece of art. Walks on Fife beaches add findings to another collection of stones, glass, bones and shells and with the addition of Papier Mache individual objects come together reforming into something new. Peace Token to the Ocean is an apology to the sea for damage we humans have heaped upon it and the catastrophes this in turn has caused. I have made this assemblage as a gift to the ocean.
