We are a spiritual community centre in Edinburgh, running a project on sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint.

Living Lighter
Here at the Salisbury Centre we are learning to ‘live lighter’ as a community. After installing energy-efficient double glazed sash and case windows throughout our heritage building, we transformed the old, beautiful windows into a new greenhouse! The new windows are keeping our carbon footprint down, while the old ones help us grow more food. We have also been running upcycling workshops which have brought lovely old objects like this garden bench and drinks cabinet back to life.
