On 12 August 2020, Lines from Scotland was able to re-open at Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries. All going well, it will be able to remain open until 25 October 2020 with carefully supervised restrictions & requirements which comply with government guidelines. All visits must be booked in advance and remain free.

Shortly after the exhibition re-opened, Fife Contemporary Director Diana Sykes and exhibition curator Amanda Game paid it a visit. The short film tour below is made up of some video and stills taken during that trip. We hope it will enable people who are not able to visit DCL&G to enjoy a brief glimpse of the exhibition nonetheless.

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, the exhibition has not been able to tour to Gracefield Arts Centre, Dumfries. However, we hope that its extended time in Dunfermline will allow more visitors to see the exhibition in Fife.

We are also still able to post out copies of the exhibition publication – available from our online shop.

Finally, we were very saddened to learn that botanical artist Lizzie Sanders died following a short illness in July 2020. Her family generously agreed that we could continue to show her work in the exhibition so that more people had the opportunity to enjoy her extraordinary work.
