Due to covid-19, I unexpectedly found myself stranded at home, in my childhood bedroom. But I felt more like a visitor, my room didn’t belong to me, but to a younger version of myself. Accepting the inevitability of the current situation, that I’d be at home for an unforseeable future, I took matters in my own hands and redecorated. I re-used old vinyls and repainted them to add colour to my previosuly sad-looking white wall. Dusting off old and forgotten vinyls and adding my own twist, felt more personal and meaningful than anything new I could’ve bought.
