During the pandemic I have focused on making new of life and memories. Drying flowers from my graduation bouquet and making new flowers arrangements with them, finding ways of using cracked pots to display my autumn flowers who – miraculously – are still alive, saving an abandoned broken chair for a new space for tea breaks, and replanting seeds from last summer’s garlic flower. It is good to see the old, sometimes perceived as dead, getting new life, making new memories and giving me a space to enjoy.
