Craft Pods’ Tour 2022-23: Francesca Rea
For the Craft Pods’ tour 2022-23, we are showcasing the textile work of Northern Irish artist, Francesca Rea. Having been taught basic sewing as a child, it was only at art college that embroidery piqued her curiosity and is now a passion. The display includes items created specially for the tour and gives an insight into why decorative sewing like embroidery is back in the limelight again.
