Artists’ Space

Craft and visual artists are at the core of Fife Contemporary’s programme – from curating and providing work for exhibitions, to delivering activities which engage the wider community. Their creativity provides the reason for our existence and we regard them as valued colleagues.

Since FCA&C/Fife Contemporary was established in 2006, it has built a unique network for artists in Fife providing information and opportunities for them to meet and develop their work. Artists (not just from Fife!) can join the free network to receive (and contribute to) frequent newsflashes. They can also come together at networking events such as artists’ Forums, specialist symposia and CPD/training sessions.

In May 2021 the Artists’ Environmental Resource page was added to this section. Find a free downloadable pdf here with suggestions and links for how to make your creative practice more sustainable. An Artists’ Environmental Sharespace has also been created on our microsite/Online Programme. Anyone can get in touch with details of what they do to make their practice more sustainable, or contact us with questions. Artists can also be featured on the microsite – just get in touch!
