Sally Pattrick trained at Manchester Metropolitan University (Foundation Studies) and Edinburgh College of Art (BA Hons), and is based in Edinburgh. In 2006 she had a residency at An Tobar Arts Centre on Mull and created new work inspired by Mull's museum collection and Gaelic culture, exhibited at An Tobar in 2007. She has also been resident artist in Jewellery & Silversmithing at Edinburgh College of Art. In Past Present with Fife Contemporary Art & Craft, she worked with museums across all three Fife Council areas, looking especially at archaeology in St Andrews, the diversity of Kirkcaldy's collections and the jewellery stored in Dunfermline.
