Sally-Ann Provan

From the Edinburgh Hat Studio, Scottish milliner Sally-Ann Provan creates bespoke handmade hats, headpieces, handbags & bridal millinery for weddings, Royal Ascot, Royal garden parties, special occasions, stage & screen.  Her hats have graced the heads of singer/songwriter Lou Hickey on her new album ‘True Love Ways’, Kezi Silverstone onstage at London Rocks 2013 and Jennifer Wayne (singer and grand-daughter of film legend John Wayne) at ‘Dressed To Kilt’ in New York.

After her BA Hons degree in jewellery, Sally dallied a while in paper conservation and museum sculpture, before nurturing her passion for hats and accessories with comprehensive training in London.  She was one of 100 top British design business selected to exhibit at ‘UK Now’ in Australia, and in November 2012 Sally showed at the prestigious Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show. She is Scottish Opera’s milliner and other clients include The BBC, Scottish Ballet, The Royal Lyceum Theatre and she worked on the Robert de Niro film ‘The Good Shepherd’.
