Robin Gillanders

Robin Gillanders was Reader in Photography at Edinburgh Napier University where he taught for thirty years. He has exhibited frequently and internationally and has works in various collections, including the Scottish National Portrait Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery in London. His most recent solo show was Ten Men which was exhibited at Street Level Photoworks in 2012. He has published several books including Little Sparta: Portrait of a Garden (1998), The Photographic Portrait (2004), The Philosopher’s Garden (2004) and Highland Journey: In the Spirit of Edwin Muir (2009). His latest book, with haikus by Henry Gough-Cooper, A Lover’s Complaint was published in June 2016.
