Nora Fok is based in Hove, East Sussex. She studied at Brighton Polytechnic and Hong Kong Polytechnic from which she graduated in 1984. Her work spans textiles to jewellery to sculptural objects and inspiration comes from the natural world. She has exhibited widely from the United States to Scotland. In 2008 her work was seen at 'Collect' at the V&A in London and was toured by the Harley Gallery in the exhibition 'Seeing Dragons in the Clouds'. Articles about her work have appeared in Crafts magazine, The World of Embroidery and Metalsmith. She is also featured in the books 'New Directions in Jewellery', Black Dog 2005 and 'Knitwear in Fashion', Thames and Hudson 2002.
