After graduating from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a degree in fine art and design, Manuel Duboe took up a post as a lecturer at the same university. For the last ten years he has worked as an illustrator, artist and graphic designer in Buenos Aires, Spain and most recently London where he now lives and works

Duboe transforms found imagery into new, sophisticated assemblage paintings by combining elements that do not typically belong together. He mixes collage techniques with oil sticks, acrylics, pencil and any other material to take the viewer to a fantasy world of dreamy colours and textures full of sexy, magical creatures.
