Louise Fraser trained at Edinburgh College of Art (BA Hons & MFA) and is based in Edinburgh. In 2005 she exhibited work in the Dudelsack exhibition, Cologne, Germany, and in 2006 in the Paperworks exhibition, Bury Art Gallery, Museum & Archives. She also assisted with an Opt in for Art workshop for artist Fred Sandback at the Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh. In Past Present with Fife Contemporary Art & Craft, she worked with Kirkcaldy Museum & Art Gallery and was interested in the museum layout, and the contrast between upstairs and downstairs displays of art and social history.
