Lindsay Perth is an Edinburgh-based Artist and Photographer. Canadian born, Perth has lived in Scotland since 1986. She has exhibited and curated artwork nationally and internationally and worked with arts organisations across Scotland for 17 years as a collaborative artist.

Perth’s work is preoccupied with ideas of limbo and narrative ambiguity. Perth defines it as “the in-between stage – when what was, is no longer, and what will be, is not yet.”

Although predominantly lens-based Perth’s work is interdisciplinary and includes performance, participatory art and installation. ‘One Hundred Blinks’ was produced during Perth’s Visual Artist in Residence at NHS Forth Valley hospital 2011-13. Further artworks at www.lippi.org
