Katherine McMahon is an Edinburgh-based performance poet. She has performed her work across the UK, and her poems have appeared in publications including Flicker and Spark (Lowbow Press, 2013) and Out There (Freight Books, 2014). Her debut pamphlet, Treasure in the History of Things, was published by Stewed Rhubarb Press in 2012. She co-edited Naked Among Thistles, an anthology about LGBTQ+ identities and mental wellbeing (Elephant Juice, 2014). She is particularly interested in poetry and spoken word as a tool for community-building and social change.
