Henry Gough-Cooper is a writer and musician. Born in 1950, he has lived and worked in Dumfriesshire since 1971. He has published on archaeology, hagiology and the Welsh Latin chronicles, and his work includes a Calendar of Saints in verse, and a verse translation of the Analects of Confucius.
