Bobbie Coleman is based near Ceres, Fife. She trained in graphic design at Cornwall College & Bournemouth College of Art & Design. After many years working as a freelance graphic designer & college lecturer, she developed an interest in stained glass & art glass in general. While living in Edinburgh, she took various courses at the Edinburgh Stained Glass House.

After moving to Fife in 2000, the interest developed, leading to a week's course at the famous Liquid Glass Centre near Bath (2003) & acquisition of her first kiln. She then created a variety of panels, leading to a highly successful Pittenweem Arts Festival show in 2005.

She likes to create panels of all sizes that can be hung independently in any window. Her developing style is based on natural and found elements and draws inspiration from her environment of Fife & her graphic design experience. She aims to broaden her techniques & experiment with kiln work.
