Anna Chapman Parker

Born in York (1978), Anna Chapman Parker studied Fine Art at the University of Edinburgh and Edinburgh College of Art, graduating with first class honours in 2003. She completed a Masters in Drawing at Wimbledon College of Art, London in 2008. Solo and small group exhibitions have included Late Listening at Generator Projects, Dundee, Subjects for Melancholy Retrospection at Edinburgh Art Festival and He do the police in different voices at Blyth Gallery, London. Anna has undertaken artist residencies with the Icelandic artists’ association, Reykjavik, the Centre for Drawing, London and with the National Trust for Scotland at Newhailes.  She is currently working on a film commission in collaboration with composer Martin Parker.
