Fife Contemporary at Fife Pride 2019

Fife Contemporary were invited back to this year’s Fife Pride, to help provide some craft activities in the Youth Zone at Adam Smith Theatre.

Kirkcaldy town centre was again awash with colour and noise as the parade wound its way from near Fife College down to the main event marquee.

The Youth Zone started buzzing as soon as parade participants got back to Adam Smith Theatre; and from about 12.30pm onwards, Fife Contemporary’s badge-making machine was in full swing! Until 4pm, we were amazed by the imaginations of all ages of folk as they got down to designing badges!

Overall we think we made about 135 badges that afternoon!

And for something more peaceful, our exhibition of Fife Portraits for LGBT+ History Month 2019 were on show at Kirkcaldy Galleries (until 17 July in fact). Thanks to all at Fife Pride for inviting us again – same time next year?
