Fife Pride 2 in Kirkcaldy

Thousands of people enjoyed the celebration of diversity and being proud to be yourself at last year’s Fife Pride, the very first such event to be held in Fife

Tomorrow, Saturday 7 July 2018, we’ll be back again in Kirkcaldy to do some more celebrating!

Fife Contemporary is taking part within the Youth Zone at the Adam Smith Theatre. We’ll be offering a variety of free drop-in craft activities including the extremely popular badgemaking that went down a treat last year. This year we’re delighted to be joined by a group of young people from Madras College in St Andrews (OK, to be honest, they’ll be doing the work; we’ll just be there to encourage them!). So we’re hoping to see lots of families and get them involved in making mini stained glass windows, bunting, friendship bracelets and more.

There’s a whole day of activity planned by Fife Pride, starting off with the celebratory parade and a huge number of acts taking part at the venue in the Town Square (not to mention all that will be happening at the Youth Zone). More details can be found on Fife Pride’s Facebook page.

The sun is bound to shine and it’ll be another fantastic day!  Hope to see you there.
