Toby Paterson exhibition soon to open in Fife

FCA&C are delighted to be opening the first of the GENERATION exhibitions – celebrating the best of Scottish art from the last 25 years – on Saturday 26 April, 2-4pm, at Kirkcaldy Galleries, Fife. This is linked to the Glasgow 2014 Cultural Programme (generationartscotland.org).  Glasgow based Toby Paterson exhibits widely internationally but this is a rare opportunity for audiences outwith the central belt of Scotland to experience his work. An installation has been designed for Kirkcaldy Galleries by the artist to create a tailored space in which to encounter and engage with the work. Visitors are invited to think about the visual qualities and changes in the modern urban landscape which the artist has responded to and interpreted.

With support from Creative Scotland and Cactus ID a group of young curators from Fife College have produced a filmed interview to introduce the artist to visitors. A programme of activities complements the exhibition including a talk by Toby Paterson on Saturday 21 June (2pm).

Full details can be found on the programme page of FCA&C’s website.
