Head Start – Summer School 2013

The second successful summer school for senior school pupils in Fife studying art & design took place recently near St Andrews.  Organised by FCA&C with the Barns-Graham Trust, and this year co-funded by Fife Cultural Trust’s Think Innovation, the event saw 3 days of hectic work with a lot of great art being produced.Pupils from all over Fife attended and were unanimous in their praise of the event.  They learned from the professional artists leading the course about what to expect at art school, and were given a variety of practical exercises to carry out during the 3 days.  They also had time to draw outside.  A full selection of some of the artworks produced has been uploaded to FCA&C’s Facebook page – worth a look!
