As the clock struck 5pm we realised we were ready!  There was nothing left lying on the floor in boxes, no extraneous packaging to be seen anywhere in fact.  Even the clutter round the desk was de-cluttered!  Amazing – FCA&C’s first pop-up shop ready to do business.

The lovely staff of J&G Innes (notably Carol and James) have done a great window for us, advertising some of the goodies waiting for customers upstairs, and Denise who’s been helping us out during the last few months, did an impressive job of covering all available wall space in the stairwell with Treat flyers – many thanks chaps!

So, 10am tomorrow and our regular shop minder, jeweller Jane Gowans, and myself will be waiting to welcome in the hoards (we hope!) and tempt you with the very tempting wares on offer.  There are some serious bargains to be had – plenty for under a tenner – plus a few more expensive things too.  Come in and up and pay us a visit (and bring cash or a chequebook as we can’t take cards!).  Better not wait till the last few days – might be nothing left!
