Treat countdown upon us!

With the second last set-up day over, I can honestly say I’ve spent many, many pounds (in my head at the moment) as I unpack and place our wonderful items.  There’s something to suit most tastes here – men, women, boys, girls, young, old – whatever!  And such a variety!  OK, I’m certainly biased – but it’s lovely stuff folks!

And even before you dash indoors for a look, take a moment to admire the truly gorgeous facade of this shop.  It’s pure Arts & Crafts (J & G Innes opened in 1879) and shows that as well as being a stationer and bookseller (as it still is), it was also a printer.  It must be the last remaining St Andrews shop with a true heritage in the town and as the sun glints off its exterior gilding, I hope it continues well into the future.  It’s the kind of building that tourists take photographs of (I watched some doing just that from my first floor eyrie yesterday).

So, back to crafty business and as the boxes diminish in number and the shelves fill, I can sense our first pop-up coming together at last.  Diana, Kevin and Jules were on hand (hopefully making mental shopping lists!) to pose for a few last minute pics before I dragged my weary limbs downstairs and home (OK, a bit of an exaggeration), and here they are!  By this time tomorrow, we should be pretty much ready to roll…
