Treat – all the way from Hungary!

We weren’t expecting to have any non UK based artists take part in our pop-up shop and innocently asked (formerly) London based glassmaker James Carcass is he could supply some of his lovely work for Treat.

It came as a double surprise when he said he had re-located to Hungary and that yes, he’d like to take part!  We showed his effervescent scent bottles and vases at the Crawford Arts Centre years ago and it’s a real Treat to welcome his work back to Fife.  Be warned though, there are only a few pieces available (staff hold back…).

We have other lovely things too – how about original prints by Elizabeth Shepherd, or photographic prints by Marysia Lachowicz;  there are also some lovely wooden items by Sharon Kirby.  Bound to be something for everyone!

We’re moving into the shop to start sprucing things up before bringing in our fabulous stock – and I’ll do my best to keep you posted here, so check back!  Opening in 5 days!
