Five Fife Beaches film on show in St Andrews Town Hall

‘Five Fife Beaches’ was one of the alternative guides to the Fife Coastal Path, produced by a group from Fife Council’s Adult Resource Centres working with Newburgh based media artist Tracey McConnell-Wood.

Flotsam and jetsam found on beachcombing expeditions between Aberdour and Newburgh were animated and set to coastal music specially written for the project.  The film was part of FCA&C’s Coastal Path residency project where 3 artists worked with different Fife groups to produce alternative guides to the Coastal Path.  It can also be found on FCA&C’s YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/fifecontemporary) and is well worth a watch.
