Fife Forum 2011 details announced

FCA&C’s popular Fife Forum for artists and makers will take place slightly later this year, on Saturday 14 March 2011.

Following on from last year’s theme ‘Sustainability – looking over the horizon’, this year’s will be on ‘Survival Tactics’ – a useful topic in today’s climate!  The event will take place again at Rothes Halls in Glenrothes, thanks to the generosity of the Arts & Theatres Trust Fife, and will run from 10am-4pm.  It’s free to all attenders, including lunch.

So, what can you expect to hear about?  Expect to learn how fellow artists use their artistic talents in different ways to help make ends meet while continuing to develop their practice – from undertaking residencies and leading classes, to setting up retail ventures and partnering other artists to organise new initiatives.  Confirmed speakers include Colin Greenslade, Kirsty Lorenz and James Donald.

Booking info will be available shortly – sign up to our free artists’ mailing list if you’re not already on it for early warning and keep checking back on our website and Facebook/Twitter pages!  It’s looking set to be another great day!

  1. Hello FCAC,
Would you add my website to the list of Artist’s Blogs and Sites on the right ( and maybe add Cupar Arts website to links if possible?

    Looking forward to the Forum,
