A great afternoon was had by all who came to Buckhaven Community Centre to join in the bowls’ tournament.  The event was formally opened by Gavin Grant of Fife Libraries, Arts & Museums, who gave the audience a short history of the carpet bowls’ industry in Fife.  Information and sketchbooks had also been laid out by ceramicist Frances Priest and the potters involved in the project about the processes they used to create the bowls and also their inspiration.
