Fife jewellers at Bovey Tracey contemporary craft fair

Just back from the far sooth (Devon) where a very pleasant day was spent visiting the Bovey Tracey contemporary craft fair.  Lots of beautifully made objects to lust after and also a couple of Fife based makers to visit – jewellers Antonia Chiappe and Roger Morris. Both had received a craft artist grant (one of the small grants co-funded by the Scottish Arts Council and Fife Council, partly administered by FCA&C) to enable them to attend this fair and their respective stands looked impressive – definitely flying the flag for Fife!

Another person we visited was Alix Swan who works with paper and stories to create magical books, badges and boxed works all relating to her love of fairytales. She may be based in Warwickshire but her work is currently in FCA&C’s Craft Pod, now in residence in Dalgety Bay Library till 27 July. While you maybe didn’t get to Bovey Tracey, you can see her work there!
