Free talk on Papua New Guinea

If you’re looking for something interesting, thought provoking, and enlightening to do this Bank Holiday weekend (and let’s face it, we’re unlikely to get tropical weather on a Bank Holiday), why not wend your way over to Kirkcaldy Museum & Art Gallery by 2.30pm on Sunday afternoon?

Waiting to stun you with amazing views of Papua New Guinea is Dr Tony Crook of St Andrews University, who’s spent years studying the anthropology of PNG while living in the country. This illustrated talk will be given against the backdrop of FCA&C’s current exhibition, ‘Double Visions – Contemporary Art from Papua New Guinea’. The talk will last around an hour, so plenty of time to have afternoon tea in the museum cafe before heading home! Full info about the exhibition on FCA&C’s website.
