FCA&C Forum 2010

We’re crunching our way through the remaining boiled sweeties as we tidy up the odds and ends from Saturday’s Forum.

Over 60 artists and makers converged on Glenrothes to take part in the day – listening to talks from Carol Sinclair of the Cultural Enterprise Office and Emma Walker of craftscotland; finding out about new group ventures planned in Fife;   hearing about the work of Justin Carter, Glasgow, and Simon Murray who worked on Platform London’s C Words project at Bristol’s Arnolfini.  There were also opportunities for audience participation, particularly when ‘brainstorming’ what sustainability actually meant.  Most of the documents relating to the delegates’ pack have now been uploaded to FCA&C’s website (http://www.fcac.co.uk) and notes of the day’s proceedings will be added there shortly.  There’s also a series of photos taken by Angie Turner from FCA&C which have just been posted on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fife-Contemporary-Art-Craft/253053157223).
