Delivery & Returns

When an order is placed via treat store, FCA&C processes the order from its office base in St Andrews, Fife. This is also the point of contact if there is any problem with the order.

Normal office hours are Monday to Friday (except holidays) 9.30am-5pm, and we aim to process and send out orders within 2 working days of receipt of the order.

Delivery

All publications and artist multiples are sent to the customer from FCA&C’s St Andrews’ base.

All cards & craft items are shipped to the customer by the artist who made it (all based in Scotland). FCA&C contacts the artist as soon as an order is received and the artist will pack and post the item to the customer. Only a small stock is kept of each craft item online and while FCA&C will do its best to ensure stock is kept up to date, due to the handmade nature of these items, it is possible at times that an order is received before new stock is made. If this is the case, FCA&C will notify the customer of any potential delay in delivery times, and the customer will have the right to cancel the order and receive a full refund.

Most items will be sent using an insured method dependent on the value of the goods.

If you require to send items to more than one address, please make a new order for each delivery address.

International Orders

International orders may incur import duties on delivery.  FCA&C is not liable for these and has no control over them.

Terms and Conditions

These terms which apply in connection with the ordering process should be read in conjunction with the Fife Contemporary Art & Craft (‘FCA&C’) website terms and conditions and the definite therein shall also apply to these terms.

Returns / Refunds

If for any reason you wish to return your purchase, FCA&C will offer a refund or an exchange as long as this is requested within 14 days of receiving your order. Undamaged goods must be returned to FCA&C in perfect condition, appropriately packed, and accompanied by the order confirmation.

If your goods are received in a damaged or faulty condition, please notify us immediately by emailing shop@fcac.co.uk. We will offer you either a replacement or refund.  A refund will cover the cost of the item, but not the original postage charge unless the wrong item has been sent.

Please take into account postage costs and shipping times when returning goods. FCA&C is not liable for postage, shipping or taxes due on returned goods, unless damaged or faulty, or if an error has been made on the part of FCA&C.

UK returns postage

In order for goods to be adequately covered while in transit, FCA&C recommends using first class post for returning cards and publications, and special delivery for returning craft items and artist multiples. Ask for a certificate of posting from the Post Office at the time the items are sent – FCA&C will not be responsible for loss or damage of returned products during transit.

Cancellation of an Order

You have 7 working days ‘cooling off’ period after receipt of the goods to cancel the order. If for any reason you wish to do this, please do so in writing, by e-mailing shop@fcac.co.uk detailing your order number and informing us of your decision to cancel.
