Clover Bowers was mentored by Marie Louise Wrightson and found a shared interest in studying the personal effects and clothing of the Polish military forces based in NE Fife during World War II, now in the collection of St Andrews Museum.
Buckhaven High School is a six year co-educational, non-denominational comprehensive school, with a current school roll of 1,200 pupils. The school’s origins date back to the 1860s and for many years it occupied a site in College Street, Buckhave. The present building has been in use since 1957 and in 1976 an extension was completed. The school has a range of facilities and is surrounded by extensive playing fields. The school community that is created for the pupils is one of warmth, of purpose and of opportunities - academic, sporting and social.
